Updating Your Profile
Keep your profile up to date to make the best impression on other members and potential buyers or sellers.
Accessing Profile Settings
- Click your avatar in the top right corner
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown
- You'll be on the Profile page by default
What You Can Update
- Profile Photo: Click your avatar to upload a new image
- Display Name: How your name appears to others
- Bio: Tell others about yourself and your interests
- Location: Your general area (helps with local connections)
Writing a Good Bio
Your bio helps others get to know you:
- Mention your restoration interests
- Share your experience level
- List current or past projects
- Keep it friendly and approachable
Profile Photo Tips
- Use a clear, recent photo
- Photos of you with projects work great
- Avoid logos or other images
- Square images work best
Saving Changes
Don't forget to click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the form after making updates.
Tip: A complete profile with a real photo builds trust with other members, especially when buying or selling.
