Deleting Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. Here's what you need to know about deleting your Almost Finished account.
Before You Delete
Consider these alternatives:
- Remove listings: You can delete your projects without closing your account
- Reduce notifications: Adjust settings instead of leaving
- Take a break: You can simply stop using the site without deleting
What Gets Deleted
- Your profile and all personal information
- All your project listings
- Your messages and conversations
- Your journal entries
- Your group memberships
- Your favourites and saved items
What We Keep
- Forum posts (shown as "Deleted User")
- Comments you've made on others' content
- This is to maintain conversation context for other users
How to Delete Your Account
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to the bottom of the Profile page
- Click "Delete Account"
- Enter your password to confirm
- Click "Permanently Delete Account"
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
