A complete profile helps you connect with fellow enthusiasts and builds trust with potential buyers or sellers. Here's how to make yours stand out.
Accessing Your Profile Settings
- Click your avatar in the top right corner
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
- You'll land on the Profile settings page
Profile Photo
A profile photo helps other members recognise you and builds trust:
- Click on the avatar placeholder to upload a photo
- Use a clear, friendly photo of yourself
- Square images work best (they'll be cropped to a circle)
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF (max 2MB)
Your Bio
Tell the community about yourself:
- What types of projects interest you?
- What's your restoration experience?
- What are you currently working on?
- Keep it friendly and approachable
Location
Adding your general location (city or region) helps:
- Buyers find local projects
- Sellers attract nearby buyers
- You connect with local enthusiasts
Tip: Profiles with photos and complete bios get significantly more engagement from other members.
