MENS 1970s 1980s RALEIGH 10 SPEED RACER RACING BIKE BARN FIND PROJECT 23” FRAME.

Condition: Original ‘barn find’ condition from house clearance. Used by owners son for paper rounds etc in early 1980’s.Requires total restoration. Tyres were pumped up long enough for quick test run and everything appears to be ‘okay’ but there’s obviously no warranty or guarantee due to age and condition. Please check photo’s and questions welcomed. Rare opportunity to make your mark on this original 1980’s Raleigh 10 speed racer finished in blue. Found during house clearance project, this time warp piece was last used in about 1984! Purchased from Lawes Cycles, Bedford this Raleigh simply needs the time from an enthusiast to put it back to an on-the-road-condition - seems pretty complete. Complete with original front lamp carrier and two later additional, one front one rear. The tyres and tubes need replacing. They are 27 x 1 1/4 sizing. I have not measured the wheels - too many confusing variations of measurement but if you tell me where you want a measurement taken, I will do so. Frame from centre crank to top of saddle mounting is 23” and wheelbase is 41 1/2 “. Top bar measures approx 22”.
