1982 Yamaha XS 850 Triple Classic Motorcycle Project Spares Repair. No Reserve Auction! This rare XS850G was running before being put into dry storage around 10 years ago. We put some charge in the battery and it turned over from the electric start (see video) but no fuel was added and no attempt was made to start it. Wheels are good save for the usual alloy reaction to the paint in places. Tyres will need replacing due to age. Brakes do stick and will need sorting. Tank is good inside from what we can see through the filler and still has original cap and key. Paintwork on tank is good, Paintwork on frame is tatty in places. These were the obvious points we noted, but it will need a thorough going through and sorting. A great project! Please study the photos and video as these will give you a good idea of what you're buying. Comes with V5c and almost all MOT's as far back as 1988 when it had a recorded mileage of 32,512 miles and was tested as a combination.
