Antique Style Twin Pedestal Desk - Leather Inset Top – Restoration Project A reproduction pedestal desk of traditional design, featuring a faux leather-inset writing surface, three drawers across the top, and banks of drawers to each side. The left pedestal has three drawers, while the right has a single drawer over a deeper double drawer (made to look like three). The desk separates into three parts for ease of transport. Although usable as is, this piece is offered very much as a restoration project. It has a good presence and classic look, but would benefit from attention to bring it back to its best. Height: 765mmWidth: 1060mmDepth: 515mmKnee Hole: 595mm wide x 395mm high. Made from composite board with veneer/laminate finish. Structurally sound and usable, but very rough overall with a marked and worn faux leather top, numerous chips, scratches, scuffs and marks to the veneer, areas of edge and trim loss / damage, locks cut previously with no keys present, veneer damage to the drawer fronts, handles worn, and general cosmetic wear throughout; sold strictly as a restoration project or functional desk as it stands.
